Heat Exchanger Software

05/03/2010 6:53 AM

There are many on the market. Do we have a consensus as to which one is the best and why? It would greatly reduce my trial and error...

What type of heat exchanger, shell and tube (u-tube, counterflow, double/triple tube), plate, types of media on both sides.

Its pretty hard to have a consensus due to the variety of applications (if you can even have a consensus), you first have to define your need requirements. Then and only then suggestions may follow.

No short cuts here.

Yeah, and did you notice that they don't advertise the price/cost?

It is the old adage "If you have to ask. You DON'T wanna know!"

I know it's in modules and pricing depends on the number of people using it plus the modules you select. It can be pricey...
