Neutral Grounding Question

If there is a mesh with 64 earthing rods, should the rods for transformer neutral grounding be separate or attached with the mesh?

The purpose of netural and general is different....Transformer neutral is grounded because your transformer
will be the impotant electrical equipment and this has to
be protected for fault i cannot have a neutral floating and
it has to be earthed properly. It is also earthed in order
to reduce the 3rd Harmonics effect.

Neutral earthing is for getting proper potential difference in Y connection. It is recommended to have seperate earthing for Neutral.

First of all let me congratulate you for asking a very good question.

As per TNEB (tamil nadu electricity board, india) rules, the neutral is also a part of the total earth grid.

The same applies to UPS neutral

No need to have any doubt. You MUST connect the transformer neutral earth rods also to the substation earth mat to create an equi-potential plane.

the over all earth value is below 2 ohms its ok for transformer neutral grounding also
