1. How to calculate SC MVA of 220kV Circuit Breaker?

2. How to calculate Rated Normal Current out of it?

Isn't there a nameplate on the breaker? as per standards, these values you seek should be there for sure.

Sorry for the beginner kind of question. But, I think Breaking MVA (Short Circuit MVA) of breaker can be calculated in unit connected scheme of hydrogenerator, only if sub-transient reactance is also known of generator. I was wandering if there is an alternate method. The generator is connected to infinite bus i.e. system grid.
