Draw two nonparallel chords of the arc. Construct the perpendicular bisectors of each chord. The intersection of the two bisectors is the center of the arc. Measure the radius.

Thanks for the perfect drawing! Interestingly, all of the construction arcs can be the same radius, and can be done with the traditional "collapsing compasses" (i.e., not picking them up and using them elsewhere).

Draw any chord. Measure chord length L and offset h at middle of chord.

Solve R = (h2 + L2/4)/2h

Yes, it works fine, but I prefer to do it using Pythagoras's Theorem because I remember it without having to remember any links.

the only known formula is Θ/360 * 2∏r = arc length. knowing the arc length u can find the radius.....
