Dear Sir,

Load balancing is Ok, but Unbalancing - for what purpose ?. First make a

list of all loads & split them into 3 Phase loads & single phase loads. Take out the

single phase loads and group them so that you can get equal current in each

phase. Surely there will be some unbalanced current which will flow through the

neutral ( 5 % will be admissable). This will a crude method as it takes no power

factor into account for each single phase load. But this method works out fairly

well.

Just split distribution of the total single phase loads equally amonst the three phases does not ensure that all the three phases would be loaded equally. There is always the factor of utilisation.

Also, where from did you get the 5% "admissible" neutral current? Why not more? Can you trace it back to any National and/or International Standards?
