Prelim. Cost Estimation of Electro-Mech Equipment

06/07/2010 1:36 AM

I was wondering if there is any Empirical formulae for prelim. cost estimation of E-M equipments of power plant. It is just for initial investigation. Getting info. from supplier is not possible at this stage.

I can do with some help. :)

Cost estimations are country- and company-specific information, and also commercially sensitive. It is unlikely, therefore, that any help will be forthcoming from an international engineering forum such as CR4.

Actually say, yes there is thump rule for the percentage of machines cost to total cost. I have read it somewhere. Sorry,..i dont have time to search it now seriously. What is your initial investigation with this cost?...you should look for planning the Budget cost. This is the best time to get the info from suppliers, business is dull in the world. (Are you first time in a power plant project?)
