NASA on board a JAXA Satellite

A new NASA telescope was 'launched' aboard a major new space observatory constructed by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
This new high resolution X-ray spectrometer in combination with the NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory and ESA'a XMM-Newton mission will "support the study of exotic objects and regions in space that radiate predominantly in X-rays."
