Hi,

The High side of the D/P transmitter should be connected to the bottom tap and the Low side to the top tap.

There is some exemptions in one of our units the D/P's measuring levels are connected "backwards" in other words the Low side is connected to the bottom and the High side is connected to the top.

Thank you

Guest,

You can put the sides where you want it,

bottom tap = high side or,

bottom tap = low side, Whatever,

The important point is know how the differencial pressure is going with the level rise, I mean, If you use wet leg configuration and the low side is ubicated in the bottom tap the ranges values be ubicated in the positives values like e.g: 1000mmH20 to 300mmH20, and If the high side is ubicated in the bottom tap the ranges values be ubicated in the negatives values like e.g: -1000mmH20 to -300mmH20.

Just, you have this present:

Dp = High side - Low side

Regards

JP
