There are many companies doing this: each installation needs to be designed for the specific fuel.

Contact industrial steam boiler manufacturers in your neighbourhood, they are specialised.

You could try Martech Power at Strassberg 1, Michelsneukirchen 93185, Germany who have an wood chip combuster that somehow drives a generator. I don't have a contact or even whether they intend mass production of this equipment.

http://www.wartsila.com/Wartsila/global/docs/en/about_us/twentyfour7/4_2006/biograte.pdf

This company Wartsila, was my client for 3 years. They are experts in this, purchasing this bio mass company a few years ago. They have tremdous power genration experience with large engines as well. Culturally a challenge, so be sure before wriring any contracts you understand Finnish culture.

You may like to check it up: www.dynamotive.com , or Google for Dynamotive Energy Systems Inc., a company who converts wood waste (sawdust, shavings, wood ends, etc) and even agricultural waste (wheat straw, rice husk, sugar cane bagasse etc.) into liquid and solid fuels, which can be used as fuel to drive gas turbine or diesel engine to generate electricity as well as heat.

Yes, our West Lorne, Ontario, BioOil plant fuels a 2.5 MW Magellan OGT2500 gas turbine. Lots of details on www.dynamotive.com. You can call me at 604-267-6028 (Canada) if it's of further interest. Regards, Nigel Horsley.
