Storage tanks coating

Friends,

Equipment: Floating roof / Fixed cone roof storage tanks

Material of Floating roof: Aluminium

Material of Fixed cone roof: Carbon Steel

Product: Hydro carbon liquids

Whether Coating is required for the Roof bottom?

It depends upon whether the hydrocarbon liquids and the tank discharge piping and pumps will tolerate corrosion products being dropped into them.

For the best advice, consult the Client's tank design standards and requirements.

For Aluminium internal roof, whether we need to coat the inner side or not. If yes, epoxy is ok.
