Hi, I was wondering about water supply and return cooling systems. Does piping and hose size matter when in reference to proper cooling and return of hot water?

Yes it does, you have to retain a flow-rate/pipe size ratio to a level where you still have a turbulent flow (referred as the Reynolds Number) get an efficient change of thermal properties.

Search this site for this, it as been discussed quite often.
