It comes as a surprise to be led to believe that these standards are unavailable within the workplace in question!

Hi Dear!

that depends on your needs & the goals of the panel in question you design. however, suggest a control circuit, and we help you design it..... otherwise, you can "Google" it....

Regards.

YOU should not place anything in the electric panel. You are obviously not qualified to work on electrical panels and well may kill yourself, or someone else if you try.

Hire a competent electrician!

Your question is not very specific. Any how panels normally should comply with IEC 60 439-1:1990.

The isntrument should be

1- 3 phase 3 position Ampermeter.

2- 3 Phase 6 position voltmeter

3- Powerfactor meter

4- KWH meter

Now a days you can have all these instruments integrated in a single electronic digital console.

then there are protections.

1- shortcircuit/ overcurrent protection

2-Earth fault protection

3- overload protection

4- reverse power protection ( if you have a standby Generator coupled to this panel).

5- If your area is high humidity area than it should have an automatic heater.

6- interlock for panel door to open only in off position.

7- withdrawable air circuit breaker for incoming from transformer in an isolated section.

I think according to the quality of your question this is the best answer one could give.

The Indian Standard on Switchboards definitely does not talk about anything on what should be the components inside the panel. It talks more about construction aspects, safety, etc.

What goes inside the panel is the customer's choice and affordability.
