sounds more like a torque converter problem

either way, you might start with changing the oil and flushing the system

dirty oil can plug the shift orifices in the transmission causing a similar problem

i dont know but if torque converter i would have thought it would have same fault forwards as back wards, more likeley brake band for reverse, or as you say dirt in valve block .

I have the same problem with my myvi, started a few months ago. Have you solved yours? How did you solve it? Where and what's the costs? Please share.

i try ask gearbox specialist guy at Kuchai Lama, KL to overhaul my reverse gear only, cost RM900.

However the problems come back again after 2 weeks. That guy suggest me to overhaul whole gearbox RM2200. I don't feel any confident with him anymore, so didn't ask him to repair.

Now just continue drive with the jerking until whole gearbox fault then only repair whole gearbox.

maverick23 dude, how much you charge for the repair?

The jerking is not that bad now, jerking become weak, still can reverse anytime. reverse gear engage within 1 second.

how long is your warranty period after repair?

Am I allow to see the process of repairing

warranty is 6months....

u cant c the process as even i also dont know how its done....

cost is rm800+ rm80... if not completed properly then he wont charge u... SIMPLE.

The R-gear will get worst n when its worst then more repair need 2 b done then d cost will increase.
