hi cr4 group i m doing research work for methane gas sensing using fiber bragg grating. can any body pl. tell me what are chemical reactions responsible for changing the bragg wavelength shift with increase in concentration of gas. how temp. is responsible for chemical changes??????what r d chemical rexns.??

What FBG profile are you using (uniform, chirped, apodized)? Fiber & recoat type?
