Tire 700-16, Inner Tube

06/30/2010 12:34 AM

Dear all :-

I investigate in a hot issue for me please send to me your recommendations and advises

Vehicles :- light truck 4.5 ton

Wheel :- tube-tire 700/16

Problem :- we notice that when the vehicle is loaded by 4.5 ton which is origin tonnage , the tires is heated by an extremely way ,and after that the tires go to be teared , after we disassemble the tires we found that the inner tubes are cut .

We do some analysis and we need to know why the outer tires are heated by this un logic way.

Inner tubes should be used with strong multiple layers and hard type tires. Tires become warm to hot when loaded and driven. Especially when the air tension is too low. This heat is due to friction in the rubber - like kneading it. Your inner tire probably gets pushed between the rim and the outer tire. Sometimes also the valve breaks due to friction between the rim and the inner tire. Movements inside. The soft type tires do not perform well with inner tires. And when exceeding the pressure limit, the reinforcement layers cause deformations what makes the tire useless. Make sure that rim and tire are matched and follow the instructions of the truck manufacturer. Use good quality tires and adopted for your vehicle use.

Possible from (incomplete) data event series is for some reason inner tube or its bond fails first then external overheats due to exessive small-scale dynamic deformation from reduced inside support (total bonded width gives small-scale rigidity, high-scale is from air pressure) . Inner cut scheme and in-out side temp time graph could help. 53 2E 4D 2E

When i was riding motor cycles in the early 1970's i was always ripping out the inner tube valves and shredding the inner tubes as they could not hold the tyre tight enough to keep it in position. the remedy to this was to have 2 more valve holes drilled into the wheel rims and metal clamps that are backed with rubber were fitted to grip the tyre and hold it in place. these clamps were off the shelf items made by the tyre manufacturer.

hope this helps you.
