you should use copper rods and immerse that in to the ground for a minimum of 2m and banding them together so that the ground resistance be smaller than 2 ohms.

Go for ready-made "Safe Earth Electrodes".

One could start by getting out that copy of British Standard 7671, blowing the dust off it, opening the pages, turning to the section near tha back on campsite electrics, and reading. After that, follow the information that one has read.

"Simples!ξ"

[Why BS7671 gathers so much dust after all the pain, fire, death and hard work that went into creating it remains a complete mystery.....]

  1. Dig hole in ground.
  2. Insert large plastic bucket into hole.
  3. Get everyone to take turns to pee into bucket.
  4. Use pee-filled bucket as earthing point.
