I built my own free website using 'Google sites' you can edit in html or using a visual editor. It's all free and maybe a good way to get started. Ok you dont get you own fancy domain name...but it's free.
Here's my site.

I did try to do it on the 'webs' website firsts, the editor was ok, but they twice contrived to fail to register my domain name despite accepting payment...it took a couple of weeks to achieve nothing and get my money back.
Del
(did I mention it's free?)

Well done site! I'm, once again, impressed by your talents.

Chinese repeating crossbow? Who would ever have thought?

Now, what was the original post again? Oh. never mind. Let'um get their own site!

To which bow are you referring? I think the text details most of 'em.
The longbow on the home page is about 71" long drawing 75 pounds at 28" and 90pounds at 31.5" it throws an arrow about 220 yards at an initial speed of about 170fps (~116mph)

One of the best ways to make "high end" things it to start with learning how to make "low end" or "entry level". Google "HTML tutorial", "dynamic html", "CGI", "Cascading style sheets", etc. (all with "tutorial").

Also, take an old PC and put Linix on it. Ubuntu is a good choice if you don't have a reason to prefer a different distro. Install the Apache web server. At this point you have your own very powerful server and lots of material to study.
