Question On Engine

what does "Stehbolzen im Oberteil(studs in crown )" mean here?

1. Tighten piston studs with a torpue of 40 Nm in piston head

2.Thread and bearing surface of nut greased with "Molykofe-Paste G-n Plus"
Gewinde und Auflageflaeche der Mutter nit"Molykofe-Paste G-n Plus"geschmiert

3.Nuts tightened crosswise with 27 nm Muttern ueber kreuz mit 27 Nm angezogen


4.nuts loosened again
Muttern wieder geloest


5.Thightness of studs in crown controlled with 40 Nm
Einzug der Stehbolzen im Oberteil mit 40 Nm kontrolliert'

6.nuts retightened crosswise with 10 Nm
Muttern ueber Kreuz nit 10Nm angezogen


7.nuts crosswise turned furfher by 90°

Muttern ueber Kreuz un 90°

Tests:

pruefung:

Nuts may not turn further at a forpue of 21 Nm Bei 21 Nm duerfen sich die Muttern nicht weiter drehen

Looks like a cylinder head bolt tightening sequence.


The following is NOT a translation!
But something along this sort line perhaps...

Cylinder head bolt torque .

Tighten bolts in a diagonally opposite sequence.

stage 1 27 nm
stage 2 40 nm
stage 3 Angle Tighten by a further 90 degrees

I believe you are on the right track. But I am confused by the 40NM, followed by the 10nm. I do not understand the words that are written, and am guessing that the 10nm is a tolerance factor related to the 40Nm.

I do believe that this is connecting rod studs and bolts, But feel the OP needs a better translation.
