Semless means that it does not have weld, free of seam, the welds longuitudinals even expiring with the required tests (NDT's), it is critical in the pipeline. This manufacture is more costly than welded pipe and is complicated on having increased diameters and thicknesses. For lines submitted to pressure it is advisable to use pipeline seamless up to 8 " in diameter. Please remember also that the load of break longuitudinal, in pipeline, is the half that the load in radial break.
