EOT Crane

07/14/2010 4:40 AM

I should work on EOT for a EPC company, I would appreciate ANY information you can provide (about engineering,constructing,testing,etc.). Ive already googled but it was not enlightening.

The project we are working on is about procuring cranes including heavy cranes and ladle crane for steel industries.

If you have a pdf, books, manuals, etc will you kindly message me.

Thanks

It is highly inadvisable to post an e-mail address in an international forum. E-mail addresses are easily harvested by spambots. They quickly bombard it with advertisements for non-prescription pharmaceuticals, scam requests to update on-line banking details, links to matters of an intimate nature and scams purporting to be about getting large sums of money out of Nigeria, rendering the address practically useless.

As EPC company you will have to prepare technical specs for the EOT Cranes. If you are from India then there is I.S:4137 for steel mill duty cranes. I.S:3117 for general work shop purpose cranes. You can prepare your specs based on these standards. However there are British equivalent specs you may refer to them. Above specs cover design requirements, fabrication and testing of the cranes. I have sold such cranes to many steel plants in India and abroad, if you need any help please do contact me. I am sending you my e-mail ID in your mailbox.

Suresh Sharma.
