Overcurrent Relay Coordination For a Substation

Dear sir

1)I am interested to know the concept and method of calculation carried out for co-ordinating overcurrent relays in a substation and anybody in this forum please send example calculation to understand better.

2)also explain how to select the CT ratio and relay current setting.

3)In a substation,It is common to see power transformer.please explain how to coordinate o/c relays located in LV and HV side.

4)and explain where the instantaneous element to be used and include in the relay coordination example?

Dear sir:

I would suggest attending a college of your choice in electrical engineering, specially for power engineering as there is no simple answer to your question! Some are simple to me but may I suggest buying and electronic program such as ETAP or SKM and learn how to use it!
