	Look in ISO / BS 2654 Manufacture of vertical steel welded Non-Refrigerated Cylindrical Storage Tanks, could be of some help in certain areas.

	Exactly what do you mean by the words " can be designed optimally" ? Are you looking for a design standard that will result in a less expensive tank than would result from API-650 design ? I don't understand....... __________________ We have met the enemy....and he is us. POGO
