Microsoft Word Hexadecimal Format

Dear CR4 followers: Can somebody tell me the way Microsoft Word saves the text in hexadecimal? I am able to read it with a software tool but can´t find any correlation with the ASCII or UNICODE, is there an especial code for this purpose? Thanks Ciro

i am looking for a Word barcode addin and I would like a format a cell in Microsoft Excel 2007 in hexadecimal but am not finding how to do this.

Is there a built-in way to change the base from 10 to 16 for a cell?
