Stainless Steel Welding

07/19/2010 2:15 AM

We are fabricating the shell of 13 meter length having 16 c/s joints (shell O.D. 4520 & 8 Thk). The shell material is SA 240 GR 304H. What precautions should be taken to avoid excess shrinkage of Stainless steel material while c/s joint welding? We are using SMAW process for above welding.
