what is the difference of 4P MCCB and 3P MCCB

what is the difference of 4P MCCB and 3P MCCB, where I could apply this type of MCCB in the electrical system distribution

Their application is determined by local electrical codes. In the UK, British Standard 7671 applies.

When some user connects precision instruments (4-20 ma or in the high frequency spectrum), use of 3P mccb may cause flutuations in readings or output as the case may be. A 4P mccb is best suited for complete isolation.

Dear Sir,

4 Pole MCBs means Three Phase and Neutral. 3 Pole shall not be having neutral for ex. Delta connection is envisaged. (Transformer Radiator Cooling Fans)
