Can anybody provide details of standpipe which is installed on the vessels for instrument connection.

It depends on the variable you're measuring, the instrument you're measuring with and where it's installed. Mounting for tank level instrumentation for DP is far different than for non-contact radar.

Dear guest, Standpipes are often used in plumbing and firefighting systems. Perhaps this is a misnomer..... What type of instrument and what is in the vessel that your trying to read (liquid, vapor, height, heat) ?

My standpipe is installed with a ceramic vessel for connection to the handle instrument.
