Koken Barber Chair Brake

07/27/2010 6:16 PM

After reading over the threads about the barber chairs it dawned on me that my 1946 Koken barber chair does not possess this feature. I've had this chair for fifteen years or so. Every so often the fever hits me and I'll get to tinkering on " my Throne ". Recently, my wife took to re-upholstering her favorite(?) piece of furniture when I came across your discussion. There sounds like there's some people here who are very informed, and, if I could have any information concerning this topic it would be greatly appreciated.

thanks, franklindj

Good morning, and I join bob c in welcoming you here.

There are a couple of internet discussion forums that are specifically geared for older barbershop equipment. Here is one I peek at once in a while.
