What does the genset manufacturer say on the topic?

read the instruction manual, and is there a drop/rise in barometric presure at that time?

is the crank case vent clear.

But manufactures should know,

set up a camera to vido the area and record whats happening at or about that time, just in case there is somthing else setting it off.

"...mainly trips at night 456 am"

Does this mean consistently trips at 4:56 A.M. local time?

Seems as if there may be a clue here... hmmmm.

possibly a local who doesn't like the noise, animal interference set up a hide (camouflage hut) and wait with video camera to see what happens at this time.

I have to assume this is an electronic engine, if you have a communications adapter and software you can access the engine ECM, check for codes, see what the shut down is set for and see what the crankcase pressure is running at, verify it with a manometer, You can also check codes and the run time of event with the Cat generator Controller. I had some gensets with crankcase ventilation devices to take the oil mist out, they were installed improperly and caused the gensets to shut down, I also heard of an engine that shut down repeatedly, it restarted every time except the last one where it exploaded. No warranty recorded in the ECM.
