Hi, This is the most common material used in pressure parts. 1.Boiler drum-Carbon Steel 2.Water wall-Low carbon steel/Low carbon steel + 1/2% molybdenum. 5.Economiser-Low Carbon steel. Superheater material is based on the metal teimperature reached in a zone.Normally carbon steel used upto temperature 450 deg.Celsius. Above that alloy steels are used. Alloy of Cr., Mo., Ni., are mostly used. In airpreheater each component having distinct material. I don't know the material for water and steam headers. I want to know what means Bed coils.
