The information you're looking for is in the ID manual, chapter 10, sub-paragraph T.

Well, Dodgy Dave in Canvey has a shed-load of them - just fell off the back of a Space Shuttle, they did. I can knock them out cheap for you. Just send cash. <Cough, wheeze>.

You can't use solar energy to power a coal mine operation. Even if you do strip mining. It sends the wrong message.

You seem to be obsessed with this subject. Economical Solar Panel etc. etc.

Have you not discovered how to search the web for this redundant information?

I'd tell you how to do it, if you really want to know.

Well?

Urgent just doesn't happen! I have been working for several months gaining knowledge about this same subject. And still have more to learn. My suggestion? Start looking and reading all you can for the next several months and by then you may have some idea of the answer. I am always amazed at the number of people who we enable in this country by just giving them the 'answer' and they have absolutely no idea if it is the best answer or not. That is why half the population is supporting the other half. The real quandary is just who is the dumb one? OMG!!

wajeeha,

We need some information.

How many volts are you after?

AC or DC? Do you need an inverter, and batteries to store the energy?

What do you need the electricity for? Ie, to supply a few lights in a house, to pump water from a well, to supply a village, etc. Very important information!!

What do you know about Solar power? Don't be afraid to say 'I know nothing' because honesty is the best policy here.

Where are you from? What may be cheap to some of us may be very expensive for others. Ie export costs, funds available.

The more information you can give, the better chance there is that somebody will give you some good advice!

Wishing you the best.

Now days such panels are in the 100 to 120 watt range and mostly made 'most economically' in China.

Chinese manufacturers nowadays have "export partners" - meaning a "standard (propped up) price" for the rest of the world.

Generally it is worth your while to go there and buy personally if your numbers exceed 10 panels.

Deals may also be done in adjacent Asian countries, but at some peril of damage in transportation, unexpected 'levies' and/or theft.

Search Solar on CR4 and read all the threads to do with solar before asking sillly general questions. You have started 5 threads on Solar in the last year with general questions and no information. Nobody can answer your question without information. We don't know the cost of electricity, equipment or government subsidies where you live.

There is a Norwegian company, REC, that makes solar panels. Their website is www.recgroup.com and have sales offices for their solar business unit in the US and Europe.

I'll sell you panels at $3.50/watt plus freight. 200 watt, 30VDC. Approx 60"X40". More detailed specs on request.

solar power is a reliable & environmentally friendly energy source. Solar power is the conversion of sunlight into electricity, either directly using photovoltaics (PV), or indirectly using concentrated solar power
