Looking for Pre-Set Timed Vibrator

08/27/2010 2:20 PM

in 2008 someone was looking for a pendant or pin that would vibrate on a pre-set timer. Did anyone ever find one or something similiar? Thanks

Timers are easy, vibrators are easy, pendants are ...well pendants.
It's not rocket science... which bit do want to start with?
Please to those daft Q-link things, which have a few unrelated unconnected passive components and are s'posed to do something. Give my my lucky pants anyday.

If you consult The Google, you can find a number of vibrating watches, bracelets and timers that clip to your belt.

http://www.amazon.com/Invisible-Clock-II-Vibrating-Reminder/dp/B00070QHE6/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1282935009&sr=8-3-fkmr1

http://www.amazon.com/CASIO-Pathfinder-Vibrating-Alarm-Fishing/dp/B000TJUPFM/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=watches&qid=1282935207&sr=8-4

Also you can find a few pendant type watches that vibrate, although the ones I ran across seemed to be a little pricey. I didn't search all that much, though. There may be cheap ones out there. Here's an example:

I did run across this one jewlery-like pendant. At approx. $60 it also seems a little pricey. But most annoyingly to set the alarm time you put the battery in it at the time you want it to go off on the following day. A pretty inconvenient method if you ask me - especially if you want to change the alarm time often.

As always, I'm not recommeneding or endorsing any of the above products or vendors.

I must admit, the thread title brought me in!

I figured "Hey, a birthday gift idea for a certain ex-Mrs. Doorman".

I discovered the thread title, while accurate, is not quite... what I thought.

Being functionally deaf, my thoughts were obvious.
