Shutdown Valve & PST

08/29/2010 1:48 AM

Hi guys,

I want to connect a shutdown valve with PST (Partial Stroke Test Facility). The valve is installed with a volume booster, positioner, open/ close / mid-range switch positions and an airvolume tank with all instrumentation. We should be able to initiate the PST from the control room DCS/PLC or from a field installed local push button. The positioner of the valve is to be connected to a computer running AMS valvelink software via a multiplexer installed in the control room. A local control panel installed in the field also has provisions for Valve Open, Close and Ready for Reset push buttons.

Can someone provide me a detail sketch of the interconnection.

Iam not asking for someone to do my home work, but a helping hand would be appreciated.
