An RFID Tag for Tommy Thompson

Tommy Thompson, former Health and Human Services Secretary, has agreed to have an RFID tag implanted under his skin. Recently, Thompson joined the board of Applied Digital, owner of VeriChip, the company that makes such subcutaneous devices. Last December, Harvard Medical School's chief information officer had himself injected with a similar chip.

Tagging people

They are suggesting this RFID tagging for people with sever allergies or health problems. They can then scan people in the ambulance and make sure they don't give you medication that might kill you.
