Rotameter and Chlorine Compatibility

Can someone explain (providing data) that the rota-meter in the link below if it is compatible with chlorine residual 15mgl in process fluid plant water will be ok?

It looks good from here though the best advice is to discuss the matter with the manufacturer.

15mg/l of free chlorine in water is over six times the level needed to protect the water in a municipal swimming pool from unwanted biology.

All glass construction for wetted area should be fine for chlorinated water.

Hello,

Glass is more than sufficient for use with your Cl concentration. As previous, contact with Mfg. is always best. We prefer stainless fittings in Cl exposure for longevity. Great life cycle and product support from King.

Another viable (and much less expensive) solution is the Dwyer Ratemaster series (see link), because they have a local flow contol feature. The polycarbonite is very Cl compatible and they are offered also with stainless fittings. The ten inch models are excellent for those of us who are somewhat older and "vision-challenged"
