API 602 Valves

If API 602 Valves require back seat arrangement as API 602 doesnt talk about that thing?

API 602 very clearly requires a back seating arrangement for the stem in the open postion. (Is this the question?)

2.10.1 The stem shall have a shoulder that will backseat against the bonnet in the fully open position.
