Font Resembling Calculator Numbers

09/08/2010 12:27 PM

I am looking for a 'Font' that resembles the displays in calculators or electronic counting numerical. Some fonts with prefix as 'Stencil' have the resemblance of calculator display but are not exactly like that. If we closely observe this display all the alphanumerical are part of number '8'. And 8 is of four vertical and three horizontal LCD or LED displays. The font I am looking for should resemble this pattern. Has any one suggest me as where I can locate this and preferably download this font freely

You could create the display numerals using a CAD program.

What you are referring to is 7 segment (LED). Just google for 7 segment font, you will find quite a selection that are free.

The 3D version seems to have some possibilities....

I think you need LCD fonts rather than stencil.

If not & you have a sample of what you want, you can upload it to What The Font to find the closest match.

Have you searched for 7 segment fonts? I found several I use for displays to emulate real old test equipment in LabView.
