IEC Standard for Battery Chargers for Power Plants

09/12/2010 11:12 AM

Is there an IEC standard for battery chargers for installation in a power plant or substation. Nominal system voltage is 110 V or 220 V DC and equipment operates on 415 V 3 Ph. 3/4 wire AC. Rectification topology is 6 pulse SCR controlled, followed by a filter choke & capacitor with bleeder resistor.

Thanks and regards

Try Google "IEC standard for power plant battery chargers".

It looks like there is some useful reference material.
