3D Design in Nitinol

09/13/2010 6:29 PM

Does anyone know of an individual, group, or company based in India that has expertise in 3D design of laser cut Nitinol components...such as stents? Ideally I would like the one group to solid model the part and then optimise the component using FEA.

i have worked with these two small but outstanding organisation on some medical stuff. i wouldn't know about Nitinol or stents, but they both are good with solid modeling, FEA, Rapid prototyping etc.

These look like two interesting design companies. However, Nitinol design and analysis tends to require a lot of specialist expertise and neither of these seem to have a track record working with Nitinol. The ideal person would have experience designing nitinol stents or similar nitinol components.
