Cost Comparison Of Transformer With Different Cooling ONAN And ONAF.

What would be ratio of cost of two Transformer with same rating but different Cooling method. The ratio of cost shall be only of Transformer excluding cost additional i.e. Aux. panel, Cable and starter, LCP etc required for ONAF?

For example: Transformer ratings is 33KV/11 KV, 45 MVA, DYn11, OLTC, All other spec remaining same, Resitance earthed. One transformer is ONAN whereas other is ONAF?

(Location for sourcing and installation is middle-east)

If both transformers have a rating of 45 MVA, you are not comparing the same transformer. One transformer has a 45 MVA rating with out any cooling equipment. It probably has a higher rating if you can add fans. The other transformer has a lower rating than 45 MVA when the fans are not installed(45 MVA ONAF). Depending on how may sets of fans are installed, the ON rating could be around 35 MVA.

I agree the rating would be not same.

Even with this difference in rating what would be % price difference.
