Hi,

There are various types of lightening arrestor available in market.

The radius of protection varies so u have to select the no. of lightening arrestors accordingly. In the installation procedure you should consider the earthing resistance of the earth pit and conductor size.

Arresters Part 8 Section 2 Para 11 to 11.8 to decide whether you need Lightening

Arresters in your area ? Then taking into account the building dimensions , you can

decide the area of coverage needed and go in for Level 1 / Level 2 / Level 3

protection (with counter if required).

These arresters send an advanced electronic streamer to

attract the incoming strike and guide it to ground ( In conventional system the

copper spikes wait till the strike occurs on them rather than anticipating it).
