Questions About Building a Wireless System

03/09/2007 11:44 AM

I am currently working on a project, but one problem is arises.

I am working on arm processor for A to D conversion I want to give supply vtg from 3 to 5. I am taking this one from my another assembly which providing me this supply.

I wanna do this thing that is connection between arm processor and that supply wireless. May anybody tell me any path or link so I will move ahead on my way? you can send me google link also.

Do you want to supply power to a processor, 3 to 5 VDC, wireless? Like powering something without using batteries or plugging in the wall?

Unless you're working with RFID tags or something like this, will be really hard, specially if you're dealing with A/D converters and devices that naturally requires somw reasonable power to function properly.

You could use batteries. Or develop some device like the ones in automatic clocks. Or you could create a bobin in the processor and create a moving electromagnetic field around the processor to build up some energy, but this would certainly prevent the processor from working properly.

Microwave, light, ... as you stated, enter "transmit electricity wireless" in google and lots of things are comming, including a good wikipedia link.

Rgds.

Or, are you trying to establish a wireless link between your ARM processor and your A/D? Because they run on different voltage supplies?

In case you are talking about linling the A/D and the processor through a wireless digital connection, then you could search the web for embedded OEM wireless links via radio, maybe blue tooth, or something like this. I am assuming the A/D converter is mounted somewhere receiving signals from the sensors, and transmitting data to the processor.

In this case, have you considered using wireless sensors instead?

Your question is unclear. If all you need is a simple to use wireless interface check into MaxStream. They offer modules that are essentially wireless modems and they work with a 3 volt supply.
