NEMA A600 Contact for Selector Switch Meaning

09/15/2010 9:29 PM

I have researched ONLINE and could not find what NEMA A600 means for a selector switch dry contact block.

It is either outdoor, indoor, class 1 div 2, or corrosive area. Can someone confirm what NEMA A600 means?

Further research I have done show A600 means the contact is rated up to 600V. Please confirm.
