Microsoft's Longhorn is now Windows Vista

The next Windows operating system from Microsoft has a new name. What was once code-named "Longhorn" is now Windows Vista. Microsoft plans to release two test versions to developers and technology professionals on August 3rd.

So I wonder if they are going to have the same problem as when Bill showed off XP, it crashed. As for the name, why Vista? Is it what you see through the Window?
