Heat Seal Model HDS-215

09/17/2010 11:30 AM

I would like to know if anyone has used HEATSEAL model HDS-2 series shrinkwraps that can tell me how fast they run and quality of seal for a pack roughly 4x2x1 inches or does anyone recommend an Lbar shrinkwrap system.

Thank you,

Tom

Tom,

This is Heat Seal, responding to your inquiry. We manufacture the HDS-215 here in Cleveland, Ohio. The HDS-215 is a heavy duty combination L-Sealer/Shrink Tunnel. It has a traditional impulse sealing system, controlled with a microprocessor. A maintenance-free hot-knife seal system is available. The shrink tunnel has a 3200 watt heater (digitally controlled) with another 500 watts beneath the tunnel conveyor belt. It is 220 volt, single phase. The seal bar is 15" x 20", the tunnel opening is 15" wide x 8" high. Depending on the product staging and operator dexterity, speeds of 10 to 12 per minute are attainable. The system is easy to operate, comes out of the crate with little assembly and includes options other charge for. We sell through a network of local ditributors. Check us out at www.heatsealco.com

I'm working with Jeff in Greensboro, NC. I was hoping for local places I can check out one of these machines near here.
