Reactive Power is the imaginary component of the apparent power. It is measured in KVAr. It is referred to as the energy stored in capacitor and inductor in electrical networks. Since all the networks are not purely resistive. They usually have inductors and capacitors so whenever we supply energy to the networks there will always be the reactive energy component. The generators and Transformers are usually rated in KVA since they are supply both KW and KVAr component of power.

Is the Wikipedia article on the topic inaccessible in that part of the world?

Is it not so obviously homework?

OK

Hint-1 - Please do not use SMS languages it is not too welcome here (or anywhere where serious discussion taks place)

Hint-2 - Please think about the locked rotating magnetic fields and their relative spatial positions - in motors and in generators. Then relate these to the voltages and currents.

In case of further details and the mathematical portion you may refer any text books and in case of more complexity always the z transforms are there
