How to Correct Run Out

we have problem with run out tha out of tolerance on support surface.

we want to make correction so that run out on support area was in tolerance.

we used v-block as support.

The question is not understood.

As I interpret it-

- You are supporting the shaft on two V blocks (presumably at the journal diameter)

- You are rotating the shaft on these supports and checking the run-out (where ?)

- Assuming the V blocks are in good condition, properly selected to the required diameter of shaft, well clamped and are well aligned , the method must be acceptable (subject to the tolerance that have been put)

- If the Run-out is on the support postions themselves (is on the diameters that are supported on V blocks - either any of the above are by-passed. The other possibility will be that the shafts themselves are wrong.
