Megger Single Core Cable?

A single core cable wont be run on it's own. Megger between each of the various cables associated with the circuit, and finally megger each cable to earth.

Thanks for your reply, just to let you know. basicaly have lay only one cable core from box1 to box2, is it possible to do megger.

Must! Obviously, the "single-core cable" too must be an insulated one! Isn't it? The moment there is an insulation involved, you must check the insulation resistance (that is, by meggering)! No excuses, whatsoever!

You can megger to earth only then.

It does beg the question why just a single core?
