Magnesium Oxide Problem

Magnesium oxide and magnesium chloride,mixed becomes a hard board ,question what ratios are required to create hardness and how long in time to get setting to take place

magnesium oxide (MgO) + magnesium chloride (MgCL2)= Sorel cement

Try 2.5-3.5 parts MgO for every one part MgCl2

Not sure about drying (thickness dependent), etc.

An internet search of "Sorel cement" produced many helpful websites and papers on this subject.
