This is homework.

Do your own homework.

If you can't do your own research now, what will you do if you ever get a job?

Is the phrase "Special operating conditions" meaningful in any widely recognized context?

First find the normal operating conditions for the equipment. Also the actual conditions which exist at point of use. Then work out the best way for them to operate together. Write the instruction manual, taking into account all possibilities of conditions on the location where the pump or turbine is and the control mechanisms added to make it operate as desired.

Simple answer is use Amazon website, books section, type in "turbine" and "pumps" and you will have a vast selection of both current and past publications on both subjects.

Read through the descriptions carefully, as turbines will tend to focus on aero-engines, but simple common-sense will guide you to choicing the best sources of design or technical data that you require depending upon your knowledge of the subject, or indeed, the level of information you require (basic, intermedite or advanced).

Best of luck.

Hello

I note from your post that this is the first post you have ever made to CR4. how did you find this forum, did you seach for it, or did someone tell you about it?

Either way I guess you did a search on "google" or some other search engine and here you are.

As you have no doubt gathered some of the other contributors are telling you to do your OWN research as you have stated you are studying for your "Masters".

Well... study and do your OWN reseach, you managed to find this site, so go find others to help you.

One final suggestion along the lines of communications... think about what you have said

Can anybody provide me sufficient resources for the Special operating conditions of pumps and turbine?

You need to think about what that means..... and give a more details. Why?

If and when you pass your "Masters" no doubt you'll want to be in charge and if you cannot communicate with your staff and give precise instructions then you will fail at being a boss, think about it. The term you've used... "Special operating conditions" means nothing... you need to think about what you are trying to say and then say it, do not leave it open for interpretation.

Please remember this... the people who use this forum have spent many years learning what they know and are still learning, they are only to pleased to share, but refuse to do your learning for you, there is only one person that can learn for you and thats you
