First of all the "Interviewer" will want to know your name. Why is it that you cannot give it here?
What do you mean by "trainee piping engineer?"
For me to interview you I would want to know; your name, your nationality, your education, your school where you learned "Piping Engineering" and your experience after your schooling.
What were your best (most liked ) subjects.
Why did you choose "Piping Engineering?"
I would ask; "What you want to do in the short range and what is your long range goal?

Go through a good hand book on piping on mainly following topics:
- Piping design, related standards and codes
- Piping selection (including materials)
- Pipe fittings (angles, reducers, tee, flanges etc.)
- Piping stress analysis
- Welding practices in Piping
- Non- destructive testing of weld joints
- Pressure testing
- Piping supports & hangers
- Piping insulation for hot and cold fluids
The most important is the fluids (& their qualities) handled through Piping in the organisation for which you have to be interviewed. For example, if it is 'Thrmal Power Plant' then concentrate on high pressure steam piping which is most critical there.
